I’m participating in the RBC Race for the Kids Toronto to support youth mental health.
As many as two million young people in Canada are struggling with mental health issues such as an anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, depression or addiction; yet only one in five will get specialized treatment. This is largely because families don’t know where to turn to find the services their children need.
By sponsoring my run, you are helping youth find the right mental health support they need, when they need it most.
Please make a donation today and help me to reach my fundraising goal!
Proceeds will go to the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook. The Family Navigation Project is a non-profit program designed to provide expert navigation of the mental health and addictions service system for youth aged 13-26 with serious mental health and/or addictions problems.
