This Saturday, I'm running my first marathon, RBC Race for the Kids. I'm fundraising because I want every kid to have a chance to feel safe and good about themselves.
Sunnybrook's Family Navigation Project helps families with kids ages 13-26 find doctors and support for mental health issues such as anxiety, bullying, eating disorders and mood disorders. Without help, most families don’t know how to cope or navigate services.
Caring for your mind is just as important as looking after your body, and has huge consequences later if delayed or left untreated. By sponsoring my run, you may actually change how someone's whole life unfolds.

UPDATE
Sunday we had a garage sale to raise money and it was great! Everyone was cheerful. We are running 12 laps around the track each night to practise. And tonight, we're baking Rice Krispie squares to have a bake sale tomorrow.
