Youth struggling with mental health and addiction challenges need our help. As many as 30% of Ontario families are caring for at least one youth with mental health and/or addiction issues.
As a community, we have the power to help. Funds raised through the RBC Race for the Kids support Sunnybrook's Family Navigation Project (FNP), a program that connects youth and their families to mental health and addiction resources in the community.
Join or sponsor me as I lace up for a 5km walk on September 17 and raise vital support for FNP. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of this important event, I continue to feel inspired by three fundamental virtues:
- As a father, I want to ensure our young people have access to the best possible mental health care.
- As a health care provider, I recognize the life-changing and life-saving impact of FNP - which has connected thousands of youth with mental health issues and their families with the services they urgently need.
- As president and CEO of Sunnybrook, I know firsthand the impact of philanthropy on programs like FNP.
Your support is instrumental in supporting a cause that affects us all. Thank you!
