I’m participating in the RBC Race for the Kids Toronto to support a cause that means a lot to me: youth mental health.

As someone with mental health issues, I've experienced the struggle of finding the necessary support to help me. I am extremely grateful to be surrounded by loving friends and family who have helped me get the support that I needed to thrive and succeed!

Although I have been fortunate enough to receive support, not everyone has had this opportunity. There are as many as 1.2 million young people in Canada are struggling with mental health issues; yet only one in five will get specialized treatment. This is largely because families don’t know where to turn to find the services their children need.
